A FRIEND TO ME

Thank God for you – good friend of my
Seldom is our friendship as that of time
How very much I often wish to be
As helpful as you’ve been to me

When I recall from time to time
How you’ve inspired this heart of mine
I find myself inclined to kneel and pray
That the good Lord should guide you all the way

So often at His throne of grace I stand
Your face I see at his right hand
And then instructively I bow to pray
“God bless my dearest friend today”

Someday, I hope with you I’ll stand
Before His throne – at his right hand
And say to you as my journey comes to end
“Praise God, You’ve been to me a dear friend”

My Best Friend

Friends are like precious diamond
Dear and rare, hard to find
Enemies are like gravels or stones
On the sands of time they don’t hide

The advices of friends are easy to heed
For they determine life’s zeal
Enemies’ advice are seldom taken
But sometimes makes perfection look real

Joy envelops the heart when friends meet
And tears of joy when they asunder part
Enemies are never made but are
And negatives proliferates in their heart

The cry of a friend is always heard
Because it’s clear and simple
But that of an enemy
Always lure many people

Friendship is the unsinkable ship
That can sail through the raging sea with ease
Enmity is like an un-captained ship
Sailing, one would know no peace
