ALWAYS THINK POSITIVE

You can't always control your circumstances. But you can control your own thoughts. There is nothing either good or bad, only your thinking makes it so. It is not the situation; it's your reaction to the situation. Many would accord by saying it is the reaction to an action that determines the fraction and when you are in a right attitude you would get the right result.

It had being scientifically proven that over forty-six thousand thoughts flood our mind every day i.e. 1916 thoughts clamour for recognitions in our mind within the space of sixty minutes and believe it or not those thoughts are seldom positive and always from the past. These thoughts could be feelings of guilt, frustrations, the way things were handle in your opponent’s favour, past condemnations etc. So why journey through these negative thoughts and expect to get a positive day? Don’t you know that “as a man thinketh in his heart so is he” or someone once said “as a man thinketh is his heart so easy”.

The reality of your life may result from many outside factors, none of which you can control. Your attitude, however, reflects the ways in which you deal with what is happening to you. Life at any time can become difficult. Life at any time can become easy. It ALL depends on how you adjust yourself to life. Control your life and never let your life control you. My friend made an acronym of life and called it Living In Full Enthusiasm – LIFE.

YOU DO NOT EXIST FOR YOURSELF

Your success depends on the support of other people. The only hurdle between you and what you want to be is the support of others. Put yourself in another's place and you'll know why they think and do certain things. You can succeed fastest by helping others to succeed. A great man once said “I’d rather have the effort of 100 men doing 1% each than to have my 100% effort doing 1 Job”.

Always think in terms of what the other person wants. You'll get everything in life that you want if you'll help enough other people get what they want. Doing things for others always pays dividends. For God won’t ask you what you did for yourself but how well you helped those that come on your way.

You're not an isolated island. You're a piece of the planet, a piece of the universe. Personal relationships are the fertile soil from which all advancement, all success, all achievement in real life grows. When you help someone's boat across a river, you'll find your own boat has reached the shore too.

This is the word of GOD!

The World We Have Today

We now have wider freeways

But our perspective is narrow always

We spend more on irrelevancies

But spend less on our enterprises

We buy more than we can chew

And enjoy less that which are not new

We build big and splendid residence

Yet our families are small and condense

We have more conveniences

But less time to achieve its uses

We have more degrees and qualifications

But less understanding to its applications

Our expectations has graciously swollen

But our problems has not for once fallen

We have more medicines than before

But incurable illnesses are twice more

We have multiplied our assets

But have reduced our etiquettes

We’ve talk too much about our self

But seldom listen to ethics of pelf

We have barely loved one another

But swiftly hated friends and strangers

We have learnt how to make a living

But have never made a life worth believing

We have easily added years to life

But life to years we’ve done with strive

We have been all the way to the moon and back,

But to visit a neighbour is what we lack

We have conquered outer space and beyond

But our inner man we worship as a god

We have sanitized the air as a whole

But have succeeded in polluting the soul

We stand bravely tall in quantity

But on our knees we are in quality

Ruled by tall men with short disposition

Rewards with deep profit and shallow correlation

We have higher income and low morals

We learn more theories and less practical

We live in the era of global warming

But what we get is domestic burning

We have the supply of food on the increase

But kwashiorkor is our incurable disease

We spend more to build houses and tombs

But have less regards for broken marriages and homes
